On Tuesday, the Lake Belton Broncos travelled to take on Little River Academy. This was the last pre season game for the Broncos. The Bumblebees got on the board first with a shot from distance, putting the Broncos down 1-0. This was not unfamiliar territory this season for the Broncos who kept their poise and wits to follow up the first half with two goals of their own. Kevin Muchunu slotted the first goal in while Logan Dlouhy assisted Roman Manriquez for the second goal. The score at halftime was 2-1. The Broncos were not finished yet as Ben Asuncion Crabb finished the scoring off in the second half to end the game at 3-1, with a Broncos win. Lake opens up district play against the Chaparral Bobcats at home on Friday at 7:30. The game will be played at Bronco Field.
